you knew you would definitely be rewarded with a very gentle, "thank you very much my dear" and a very loving peck on each cheek. i think of it often and would not have taken anything for the love and affection that us kids were given. i want to be there for my own grandchildren as well and want them to remember jack and i with the same love and fondness.
ahhh. such a lovely memory. i well remember his gentle thank yous and loving pecks on the cheek.

would that we all could be the grandparents ours were and the best of our parents as well. mamabird is forever my idol whom i know i can never measure up to. but, as long as my children cherish me, i shall be satisfied ... and rewarded.

i spent countless hours with grandma doing yard work, walking to the store, or just sitting on the couch holding those beautiful hands
her hands are as real to me today as they were when she was still with us. thanks for this post, lee.

i know how much daddy and mama meant to us kids. always there for us whenever we needed them; daddy ready to to work on the electric, an old washing machine or help put a motor in a car. just whatever it might be you needed. and mama giving her loving advice, working by your side if you were moving or taking midwife lessons to deliver your babies even though it caused her apprehension just because you had decided to have them at home.
We were truly blessed with our parents.

After or during, if you're long winded. As long as you remember to copy all before you start to go to any other page (which may be the sign in page again).

Thanks, tejashenano, that is a great help. Do I choose one of the above before or after I have written a long winded post?

Multiply will time out on you if it takes a long time to write a reply or post, that is why I use a word processor such as notetab if I'm gonna take a long time. Or if you preview & spell check often it will keep you logged in. If you think there's any danger of losing your post, Ctrl A (select all), Ctrl C, relog in and Ctrl V (paste) in a reply box. Everything you've copied can be pasted back if something goes wrong, even the ones with no cursing or sex. Hope this helps.

I'm glad you took that go juice, otherwise I wouldn't have gotten all that information.
I've written twice just about as much as you have and at the end, the whole thing was erased. Probably by me for punching at the wrong place, because I didn't have a single cuss word nor sex stuff in there.
jacklydia wrote on May 29, '07
yeah, i probably took a go juice that day and couldn't shut-up.

I wanted to go to Ohio and take them up on that invitation myself, but then you just had to babble on & on about grandpas & grandmas. :)

dearest aunt emily, so good to hear from u. hope u had a wonderful b-day.
i do not have internet with me as jack and i still travel a lot so i am rarely able to responded to multiply. i usually jump in and out, occasionally trying to check up on whats going on.
u ask me to tell u something about my life so i will give u a quick fill in as best i can.
both my children are married and each has one child. jacqueline's baby is 4yrs old. they live in Ar. we pass thru here often to see our kids. jackie jr's (bubba's) baby is 4mths. they live in La. same as us. they and their families are doing very well. this is what consumes our minds most of the time. we are crazy over our kids and grandkids.
like i said we still travel a good bit. jack is still in the ministry. he preaches and still does sheet rock and painting as well. the former of course being his first love. he is very good at both. i on the other hand sing with him, tell him what to preach and how to paint. i am his thorn in the side! ; )

we just came back from a trip in ohio. the countryside there is very beautiful. our invitations have taken us back there several times. this time we were driven out to the country and showed a beautiful 11 acre spot of land that reminded me of a place where laura engels grew up. this land and the things needed to cultivate and build a home was promised to us if we would stay in ohio permanently and help out with the ministry there. i have never seen such temptation but still it pales compared to the fact that we can be close to our children and grandchildren where we are.

i know how much daddy and mama meant to us kids. always there for us whenever we needed them; daddy ready to to work on the electric, an old washing machine or help put a motor in a car. just whatever it might be you needed. and mama giving her loving advice, working by your side if you were moving or taking midwife lessons to deliver your babies even though it caused her apprehension just because you had decided to have them at home.

i remember how much i loved all my grandparents. i don't think i remember a time daddy refusing us the opportunity to go to grandma and grandpa's cirilo's house when ask. and the times i stayed in their home is still cherished in my mind. i spent countless hours with grandma doing yard work, walking to the store, or just sitting on the couch holding those beautiful hands i will never forget and talking about her life. and i don't think any of us kids missed out on the opportunity to help grandpa do his figures on paper even though we knew it was useless because we felt this was a loving gesture and our only quality time with him and you knew you would definitely be rewarded with a very gentle, "thank you very much my dear" and a very loving peck on each cheek. i think of it often and would not have taken anything for the love and affection that us kids were given. i want to be there for my own grandchildren as well and want them to remember jack and i with the same love and fondness.

hope i haven't over done it on the comments page. i love you very much.
please let me know how all the family is doing. we love them all.
happy birthday once again. love lydia.
